Admission Procedure

Admission is considered on the prescribed registration form which is attached to the prospectus. The admission is granted on the basis of the entrance test result, interview and also on the number of vacancies in the class. Admission form can be obtained from the account section of the school from 10.00 to 4.00 on all working days. The admission in GPSS remains open from 15 Chaitra to 31 Chaitra in every academic year.

Eligibility

A new candidate seeking admission in a particular class is required to produce the transfer certificate and marksheet from the previous school at the time of admission.

The eligible ages for all following classes for admission in GPSS is as follow.

Scholarship

Grammar Public Secondary School has its own internal scholarship scheme besides the scholarship provisions in Education Regulatory Act. It provides 100% scholarship in tuition fee for the student that passes the particular level with the highest percentage in the class. It also provides 50% scholarship in monthly tuition fee for the student that passes with the highest percentage in class VI, VII & IX. The later is the partial scholarship scheme that remains with the particular student till the result of the following terminal examination. In case if the highest percentage is secured by another student in the particular class in another terminal exam, the facility goes to the respective person till for the next terminal examination result.

Academic Calendar

All the academic and extra co-curricular activities programmes of the school are arranged in a systematic way in the school calendar and accordingly the programmes are conducted throughout the year. The academic year begins from the 2nd of Baishakh. The classes are held from Sunday to Friday from 9 : 35 A.M. to 4 : 00 P.M.
