Extra Co-curricular Activities

Extra co-curricular activities has been given equal priority alongwith teaching learning. GPSS is very much aware to make it a practising ground for each student with equal opportunities in all Inter House events that take place every Friday. The school divides four houses with equal number of students in each house each year and makes them compete individually and in a group. It also has been keeping great interest to send students in almost every Inter School events within the valley whenever invited.

Games & Sports

Indoor : TT, Badminton, Chess, Ludo, Carrom Board, Chinese Checker, Bagchal

Outdoor : Volley ball, foot ball, basket ball, hockey, athletics

Music : Vocal and Instruments

Dance : Folk, Modern & Classical

Karate : Theory & parctical classes with grading system.

Art & crafts

Theory & practical, fabric paintings, paper works etc.

GPSS has its scheduled outdoor programmes every year including level wise picnics for the refreshment and to gain more practical knowledge through swimming, geographical, historical & cultural excursion and adventures as well.

Besides, GPSS has been organizing varities of training programmes such as, Journalism Training, Anchoring Training, Public Speaking Training etc., hiring experts and resource persons at suitable time period throughout the year.

GPSS also provides routined classes of music (vocal & instrument), dance (folk, modern & classical), karate for their aptitude development and recreation at a minimum charge.
